Time is measured in specific units. The base unit of time is the second, other units include minutes, hours, days, weeks, etc.

Time is measured thus:

1 second = 1,000 milliseconds

1 minute = 60 seconds

1 hour = 60 minutes

1 day = 24 hours

1 week = 7 days

1 fortnight = 14 days or 2 weeks

1 month = 28, 29, 30, or 31 days

1 year = 365 days, 366 days, 52 weeks, or 12 months

1 leap year = 366 days

1 decade = 10 years

1 century = 100 years

1 millennium = 1,000 years

Note: Leap day = February 29
