Facilities Management Standards in Nigeria: The ISO 41001 Perspective

This is to inform and invite all to the virtual event of Facilities Management Stakeholders’ Roundtable Series 1.0.

To continue with the positive progress within the facilities management field, the Standards Organisation of Nigeria has taken a bold step with the domestication of ISO 41001 and the inauguration of a NATIONAL MIRROR COMMITTEE ISO TC 267 NMC to help steer the implementation of the standard in Nigeria.

This ISO 41001 is the centerpiece of the 41000 standard and the point of departure for implementing ISO 41000 in any FM organization.

In view of this, the NMC hereby invite you to her maiden FACILITIES MANAGEMENT STAKEHOLDERS’ roundtable series as detailed below:

The focus of the event is to generate the required awareness for the ISO 41000 series and the importance of the Facility management system standard to our practice of facilities management.

We will discuss the ISO 41000 series- (ISO 41011, ISO 41012, ISO 41013, ISO 41001) what the standards tend to achieve, our roles as FM in the implementation, opportunities for implementation, and the attendant benefits we get for deploying the standards.
