He is well vast in facility management knowledge and he is providing value-added solutions to the built environment by training facility management practitioners. Mr. Stephen Ola Jagun was the Chairman of the National Steering Committee of the Association of Facilities Management Practitioners, Nigeria (AFMPN) - The Nigeria FM Initiative. The AFMPN was incorporated in Nigeria in 2017. He is the first African Fellow of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

MKO Balogun volunteered as a lecturer for the Masters in Facilities Management (MFM) Program at the department of Estate Management, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos.
