The Association of Facilities Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AFMPN) has inaugurated the first executive council members of the association that will pilot the affairs of the Association for the next two years.
The AFMPN election into the various positions and announcement of the election results was conducted online. The announcement was made on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
The Elected Council Members
The pioneer executive council members of the association are:
President – Collins Osayamwen
Deputy President – Paul Erubami
Director of Finance & Administration – Olatokunbo Lawal
Director of Membership & Professional Development – Olumide Aina
Director of Marketing Communication & Public Relations – Timothy Adeyemi
President – Collins Osayamwen
Collins has over 21 years experience in FM. He is Managing Partner, SheltercareFM Consult.
He is a CFM, IFMA Fellow, Chairman, National Mirror Committee ISO TC 267, Member, ISO International Committee TC 267, Director of IFMA 2013-15; First African Awarded Distinguished Member 2011-2012.
Deputy President – Paul Erubami
Paul has over 20 Years experience in FM providing FM services, consulting and training across multiple sectors and across many countries in Africa. He is a CFM, Charter RICS & IWMS Member, a licensed IFMA instructor on FMP, CFM, SFP and other programs.
He created a Diploma in FM in Nigeria.
Director of Finance & Administration – Olatokunbo Lawal
Tokunbo has over 12 years experience in FM, she is the MD/CEO of Wilco, a company she has transformed from a start-up in 2010 to a major player in 2021 driven by technology and winning several awards.
The company recently signed an agreement with the FMY&S to incorporate FM in the Ministry’s WEP.
Director of Membership & Professional Development – Olumide Aina
Olumide has over 12 years experience in FM, he is the MD/CEO of Green Facilities Ltd. He has trained many students at Unilag and for other organizations in the last 3 years, as well as organize International FM Education Tours to Ghana and Dubai.
He runs the FMTalk360 Radio Program focused on advocacy and Education.
Director of Marketing Communication & Public Relations – Timothy Adeyemi
Timothy holds an FMP Credentials and has over 10 years’ experience in FM.
He is currently the AGM for Total Facilities Management Ltd where he is responsible for managing various projects – commercial, government, telecoms, educational across multiple locations in Nigeria.
He has served in various capacities in IFMA – Global member of task force responsible for review of FMP. A member of the NMC of ISO TC 267.
